My life as a student....

I have figured it out :) I am an employee Mon-Friday full-time, a Mom 24 hours a day and a student after midnight! For some reason this week has been rougher then others and I have ended up doing my homework after midnight. Wreaks havoc on my sleeping pattern. I will hopefully get back on schedule after this weekend.

In my SCI class which is Ethics and Science we are discussing the introduction of wolves back into Yellowstone. Really interesting and weird to hear all the different opinions. Ok I am going to go back to work on my homework so I can go to bed at some point!

Ethics in Science

This class is beginning to get on my nerves. I think it is because I don't care a whole lot about the subject, but the other side of it is that the class justs get into debates aout animal rights and how our population is into over consumption. Oh well I will make it through this class and the next ones.

I have made a decision about my short term schooling at least. I will continue at Universtiy of Phoenix until June. At that time I will go on a break from the Bachelor degree persuit and go with just the massage pursuit. I think it might be best if I divided and conquered one area at a time. And when I get done with massage school I will be able to get a license and then I could use that to make some extra money. Provided I am any good at it. I hope that I will be but who knows. Then I will go back and finish up Bachelors degrees.

Most likely I will be in school forever and I am actually ok with that.

MidTerms

So I think I am surviving my MidTerm week. I didn't realize that I actually knew some of the Yin/Yang stuff from Shiatsu. It is crazy what sinks into your brain without really having to study. I guess sitting in class for four hours and paying attention pays off! Hank is enjoying the pictures of the Human body and where all the Meridians flow. He thinks it is also funny that I have to draw for school. As long as we are both happy then I guess it works. I love to practice what I am learning at massage school on Hank. He lets me give him a reflexology treatment which on his feet only takes about ten minutes. Then he makes up his own massage and practices on me. It will be a fun journey for both of us!

One class down

So GEN 480 is over YEAH! I am so excited. I didn't get to class tonight due to some babysitter concerns. Hank is finally starting to get better and Mom and Grandpa are starting to get sick so I figured he shouldn't be over there. Hopefully they will get better soon. Next class at University of Phoenix doesn't start until next monday so at least I have a little break. The break will hopefully give me time to get some homework done for Shiatsu and Reflexology. I have mid-terms next week!

GEN 480

GEN 480. That is the name of my class at University of Phoenix. While I am excited that it is one of my last upper level courses for the Business Manager degree. I am going to be going to Salt Lake Community college their next term and taking some courses in Psychology. For some reason Psychology is calling my name. Who knows if I will be able to do something with this degree or not but it is the path my life is going to take me.

Shiatsu?

This is me in my Shiatsu class. I am out of my league here. The students are all so awesome with helping my understand what bone or muscle the instructor is talking about. One of these days I will get the hang of it.

I am not exactly sure what they did to my hair, one of the girls was a little bored at the time. I take my excercise ball down from my office to sit on and relax on. After sitting in the office for ten hours it is hard to go and sit in a classroom for another four. It will all be worth it (I hope) when I get done and can start doing massage to earn a little extra money for Hank and I. I am at least a year out from being able to complete the program with everything else that I have going on. I am excited though that I have started. Reflexology is also turning out to be a very interesting class. My mom is excited that I am taking that class because she wants me to practice on her. Next term I will be taking Anatomy....scares me....

How much School

So I am having a debate with myself. How much school is too much school? I am almost done with my bachelors degree in Business management and am now veering in a different direction. I really want to go into Psychology instead. Am I crazy? Is staying in school until I am 40 a good answer?
